Why are you here?

Is this an accident?

Today there are hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of religious websites. There's so much to read on the Internet, it's easy to get overwhelmed with information. So the question is what brought you here...

Have you ever experienced something like this? You're on the way to your neighborhood market, but not too far from it you see a lady trying to change a flat tire. There's no one around to help her and you notice a young child on the back seat of the car. You're in a rush, but you can't just pass by, so you pull over. The lady is very appreciative of your kind gesture, she thanks you and just as you are rolling up your sleeves... you hear a loud bang. A terrible accident happened on the intersection at the end of the block. That's where you would have been if you had not stopped to help.

This did not happen to me. What I'm trying to illustrate is, there are many incidents all around us of which we don't even know. Some people think these are circumstantial situations, a simple matter of good luck or bad luck. I respectfully disagree with such a statement and would like to suggest to you, that what we witness around us is a reflection of much bigger conflict between good and evil, a conflict on Universal scale. Yes, sometimes bad things happen to us and we complain and blame others, but later on we realize these unfortunate events saved us from a bigger tragedy.

And now dear visitor, let me answer my own question. I believe you're here not by accident, but you were led by the Holy Spirit. I don't know if you are a Christian or not, it doesn't matter really. God can work in the heart of anyone, regardless of what level of faith one has. He is loving, merciful and patient with all of us and sometimes He prepares us for years even without our knowledge until this moment comes in our lives, where we have to make a choice... What will it be my dear friend? Will you shut the door of your heart to the Holy Spirit... or will you let Him come in and allow you to experience freedom that you had never felt before. I hope and pray that whoever you are and wherever you might be, you choose God and in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, I promise that your life from this point on will turn into a blessing to you and others.
