Our Beliefs

  • We believe that the Holy Scriptures, The Old and New Testament, are written by people who were chosen by God and inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Scriptures are the true Word of God and contain not only His will, but a message to all generations giving the knowledge necessary for salvation.

  • There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. He is infinite, eternal and beyond human comprehension. He is forever worthy of worship.

  • God the eternal Father is the Creator. He is Holy, just and merciful.

  • God the eternal Son is Jesus Christ. Through Him only salvation of humanity is accomplished. He took our place on the cross, suffered and died voluntarily to pay the ultimate price for our sins. He was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary on our behalf. He will come again for the deliverance of His people.

  • God the eternal Spirit was active with the Father and the Son in Creation, incarnation, and redemption. He inspired the writers of Scripture and influences and convicts people. The Holy Spirit is sent by the Father and the Son to be always with us.

  • God is Creator of all things. The first man and woman were made in His image, given dominion over the world, and the responsibility to care for it.

  • Created as free beings, having own will our first parents choose to disobey God and by doing so they denied their dependence on Him. Sin and therefore death entered the world. As a result we, the descendants of the first man and woman are born with a sinful nature and are subject to death.

  • By following Satan's lead into rebellion and sin, mankind becomes involved into the controversy of the Universe between good and evil, a conflict between God and Satan which originated in Heaven.

  • The result of sin is death. In His infinite love for us God provides the means of salvation through the life, suffering and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ. Those of us who repent our transgressions and by faith accept Christ as our Saviour, Substitute and Example will receive salvation. We're all God's Creation, but we truly become God's sons and daughters when we accept His gift in the sacrifice of Christ Jesus.

  • Baptism is a symbol of our union with Christ. By baptism we die to our old sinful life, acknowledge that Jesus is our Saviour, receive the Holy Spirit and start a new life not for us, but for Christ. Baptism is to be performed by full submersing in water.

  • The Church is the Body of Christ, community of believers who join together for worship, fellowship, help others and most importantly proclaiming the gospel worldwide. The true Christian church is not of members, but of disciples, we are called to bring souls to Christ.

  • The Lord's Supper is a participation in communion with Christ. In expression of willingness to serve one another we perform foot washing in the example that Jesus gave us. By taking part in the Lord's Supper ceremony we proclaim the Lord's death until He comes again.

  • We believe that the most important principles of God's law are given to us in the Ten Commandments and exemplified in the perfect life of Christ. It's important it point out that keeping the Ten Commandments is not a way to gain salvation, but the very evidence of our salvation and love for God. Another purpose of the law is to expose sin and help us understand that if relying on our own works we will most definitely fail, therefore we need a Saviour and indeed salvation is only possible through Him.

  • The Sabbath is a day set apart by God as a memorial of Creation. It is a day for rest, worship, communion with God and one another. It is also the Fourth Commandment in God's eternal, never-changing Law.

  • We're all God's stewards. We're given time, abilities, talent, possessions and other blessings of life by Him. With this comes responsibility for the proper use of these resources in faithful service to God and helping others. We are to demonstrate our acknowledgement that all these things belong to God by returning tithes and giving offerings for the preaching of His gospel.

  • Christian means "Christ like", therefore we are expected to behave in a certain way, according to principles outlined in the bible, in harmony with each other and respectful to one another in spite of our cultural differences. We have to remember that our actions show how we are and no matter what we do, we are to bring glory to God's name, not shame. We feel it is very important to take good care of our bodied with proper exercise and diet as we abstain from the unclean foods identified in the Scriptures. Since alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and the use of narcotics are harmful to our bodies, we are to abstain from them as well.

  • Marriage is a divine union between a man and a woman established by God in Eden. It is a commitment with God not only with the spouse and it should be taken seriously and with high level of responsibility. Both partners in the marriage should share the same faith.

  • The Second Coming of Christ is a promise made by Him and the blessed hope of the Church. When He returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected, and together with the righteous living will be glorified and taken to heaven, but the unrighteous will die. The Second coming will be literal and seen by everyone in the world. Although the exact time is not appointed in the bible, we're confident it is near because of the fulfillment of most prophecies and the present condition of the world. Time is near, we are to be spiritually awake and ready.

  • The condition of the dead people is unconscious state. When Christ comes again, the resurrected righteous and the living righteous will be caught up to meet their Lord. The second resurrection, the resurrection of the unrighteous, will take place a thousand years later. Blessed are the ones who take part of the first resurrection.

  • The millennium is the thousand year reign of Christ with His saints in heaven, time of judgment of the unrighteous dead. I will take place between the first and second resurrections. During that time the earth will have no living human inhabitants, but will be occupied by Satan and his angels. At the end of the millennium Christ with His saints and the Holy City will descend from heaven to earth. The unrighteous dead will then be resurrected, and together with Satan and his angels will be destroyed with fire from God and the universe will be freed of sin and sinners forever. This will be the beginning of the eternal New Earth, where God will dwell among his people. It will be perfect world with no suffering and death, but world full of love, joy and learning in the presence of our Creator.
